A stronghold is a place that has been fortified to protect against attacks.

A stronghold is a place that has been fortified to protect against attacks. It is a place of security or survival. Psalms 27:1 reads, “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Sometimes, in life we forget this. Sometimes, we feel all alone, not knowing where to turn or whom to turn to! When we rely on God to be our stronghold it is a place we go for safety, protection, or refuge on days when we feel forsaken and desolate. During these moments—moments of fear and anxiety, unbelief and doubt, pride and arrogance, unforgiveness and bitterness, selfishness and self-centeredness, lust and sexual immorality, greed and materialism, anger and unforgiving spirit, is when we cry out to the LORD, asking for help! This scripture reminds us that in all things our God is with us. He is the stronghold of our life. So, hold onto Him. He will see you through whatever you are going through. God Bless. Amen.
