All of us get tired and weary of

All of us get tired and weary of what is going on in our lives.

April 12, 2025

All of us get tired and weary of what is going on in our lives. You want to say, “Could I just have a break, please. I am tired, oh so tired.” You go through the motions of life, and you try to stay positive, but good gravy it is hard to do at times. So, you keep putting one foot in front of the other hoping and hoping that things will smooth out. Then out of desperation you pray and pray and pray. Not really knowing what you are praying for but all you know is that maybe just maybe God can and will give you the strength, courage and willingness to keep going. Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Then Matthew 11:28-30 reminds us, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Sometimes we forget that no matter what is going on in our life, God is there. God will see you through all situations and circumstances. He will give you strength when you are weary, hope when you are desperate, wisdom when folly and foolishness is all around you, and peace when life is chaotic. So, trust in the Lord. It will work out and remember this too will pass. For God is our strength! God Bless. Amen.
