Are You an Inspiration to Others?

Actions always speak louder than words!

May 7, 2026

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds…encouraging one another and being an example in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Hebrews 10:24, 25 NIV)

One of the most important things you can do is inspire (spur) another person to want to be better—this is what God does for us—inspires us to be better. Inspiring others to be better is one of our purposes.  It is mirroring how God encourages us to grow in love, faith and actions.  By mirroring what God has called us to do and to be, we help others see their potential and help them move toward being a better example for God.

Have you ever heard the saying, “Don’t do as I do, do as I say.”  This is NOT how to inspire others, to spur others toward God.  For actions always speak louder than words.  We inspire others through our actions, our words, and how we live.

Think about it, we are all mentors who spur, who inspire others toward wanting to be a better person.  For someone is always watching us—what we say, how we act.  And what kind of inspiration are you giving that person?  How are you inspiring that person?  For actions always speak louder than words.

Are you an inspiration for others?  Are your actions inspiring others toward love and good deeds?  It is something to think about!  God Bless.  Amen.
