Christ is Unchanging

Christ is the same--always and forever!

May 25, 2026

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!” (Hebrews 13:8 NIV)

“The same” is the unchanging character of our Lord.  While cultural standards, human emotions, and circumstances are always changing, this verse shows us that Christ’s character, love, and faithfulness will never change.

This passage is a source of comfort, encouragement, and strength. When you have problems at home—Christ’s strength is unchanging and will help you get through the situation.  When an illness overwhelms you—Christ’s comfort is unchanging and will sustain you, giving you peace.  When life becomes difficult—Christ’s encouragement is unchanging; He will fortify you and give you strength.   When you become anxious—Christ will take your anxiety, giving you hope and calmness, for He is unchanging.  He will reassure you and provide you solace.

For Christ is our all in all.  He is the same always and forever. Unchanging.  He is the foundation of stability in a constantly shifting world. So go to our Lord.  He is there.  He is always there!  God bless.  Amen.
