Do you ever second guess yourself? You make

Do you ever second guess yourself?

August 14, 2023

Do you ever second guess yourself? You make a decision. Then you start thinking about it, soon you start questioning your decision. You say things like, “Maybe I should have done this or that or?” You talk yourself right out of your decision, questioning yourself! Here is the thought for the day, what would happen if God was indecisive, never settling on a decision? How much different our world and lives would be. We would be living in chaos. Our God is such an awesome God. He has given us guidelines to live by. You can find them all in the Bible. Such as, the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) the two Great Commandments (Matthew 22:37-40) Deuteronomy 6:5 tells us to love God. Then the Golden Rule is found in Matthew 7:12. James 3 tells us not to Gossip and Mark 10:11-12, tells you not to commit adultery. Then in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, tells us the importance of LOVE and how to treat one another. There is no second-guessing; it is all written down in black and white. From the Bible we know what sin is and what is the right thing to do. As people of God, we are called to a new way of life. How are you living out your life? Are you following the guidelines God has set before you or are you changing God’s commandments to fit your lifestyle? It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
