“Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing.

December 12, 2023

“Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” (Psalms 5:1-3) This Psalm is a beautiful prayer. Prayer, as a believer in our Lord, is how we communicate to God. It is how we draw closer unto Him. It is how we develop and keep our relationship with our LORD going. Prayer is our lifeline to God. Today, throughout the day, while you are driving, in the shower, having coffee on the back porch, or sitting in the silence of the day. Talk to God, tell Him your concerns, your fears, your joys, and your sorrows, and then take time to listen to that still small voice. You will be amazed how centered you will be if you talk to God throughout the day, for our God gives us strength when we are weary, hope in our despair, courage when we are timid, and mercy in the harshness of life. God is our all in all sometimes we just need a reminder. God Bless. Amen.
