Giving up and letting go are not the same thing.

Giving up and letting go are not the same thing. When we give up, we cease making an effort; resign oneself to failure or have the realization that one will never be able to obtain the thing we want. To let go, means to relinquish one’s grip on someone or something. When we let go we know that there is a possibility to achieve what we desire, but we also know that it will only be with God’s help. Thus, we trust God to see us through the situation and we let go and let God. Proverbs 16:3 reads, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:9 says, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Sometimes in life, we just have to let go and let God. God Bless. Amen.
