God is the God of all things.

Nothing is impossible with God.

October 5, 2026

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37 KJV)

In this verse the angel Gabriel is speaking to Mary. The situation Mary finds herself in is that the angel is telling her she will give birth to a boy, even though she was a virgin and had never been with a man.  This verse reassures Mary that God’s power has no limits and His promises will come true.

God’s power has no limits.  For God is the God of all things.  The creator of all things.  He breathed life into all things.  He established the heavens and the earth and all creation.  He is and was and will always be.  He is the one sure thing in this life of ours.  But sometimes we forget this, we forget that God is our all in all—no matter what life throws our way.

And at this very moment, life is throwing something at Mary.  Mary finds herself pregnant, in a time where you will be shunned if you are not married. I am sure she is thinking, how can this be, why me, what will I do, will Joseph stay with me as my fiancé?

Then the angel Gabriel says to her, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”  We forget this.  Nothing shall be impossible with God.  Life is life. Life can be good and wonderful, but it can be hard also.  In life things can build us up or tear us down.  But when we believe in God.  When we have a relationship with God.  Then no matter what life throws our way we know that God is there.  It is in the learning to rely upon God that is the difficult part.

And this is accomplished through our relationship with Him—God.  Today, seek the Lord.  Be still and know that God is the God of all things.  And remember, this too will pass, for God will give you the strength you need to get through it.  He did with Mary and He will do so with us.  For nothing is impossible with God!  God Bless.  Amen.
