God Loves Us.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

April 26, 2026

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”(Psalms 139:14 NIV)

This verse highlights that God intentionally created each person with unique care, purpose, and beauty. It is often used to emphasize self-worth, divine purpose, and gratitude for all that God has done.

“Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” implies that God designed us with deep care, intricacy, and awe, making us masterpieces in God’s eye.  Every one of us is viewed as a “one-of-a-kind” purposefully designed with specific traits, gifts, and love.  No one is an accident, every detail, including those that society might view as flaws are part of the complex and marvelous work of God.  We forget that God created us, designed us with deep care and love.

The hard part is seeing “ourselves” as special, unique, and wonderfully made. For we see our flaws, our inadequacies, our failures and we doubt who and what we are.  A beloved child of God.  Seeing ourselves through God’s eye can be difficult.  For our self-worth, our God-esteem is just not there sometimes.

Today, try focusing on and affirming your identity in God.  Because God does not make mistakes.  You are fearfully and wonderfully made!  God Bless.  Amen.
