God Loves Us!

Nothing shall separate God's love for us!

May 4, 2026

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come.  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

This scripture is a profound declaration of unconditional, insurmountable, and secure divine love.  Paul the author of Romans list contrasting extremes (death/life, height/depth, angels/demons) to show that no created thing can break this bond with God. Nothing can separate us from God’s love. Regardless of circumstances, difficult situations, or external forces we have the assurance that God loves us and is always with us.

These 2 verses conclude Romans 8, following the promise that God works all thing for good for those who love Him.  Those who love Him.  Those who love God are not just people with a positive feeling toward Him, but those whose lives are characterized by a deep, active commitment to Him.  We love our Lord with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength.  He is our all in all and because we love Him, because He loves us NOTHING will separate us. It is something to remember "nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God!"  God Bless.  Amen.
