God Loves Us.

God loves us unconditionally always and forever.

July 11, 2026

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV)

The beginning of this verse is of praise encouraging people to express gratitude because of God’s unceasing kindness and faithfulness.  The last part of the verse states that God’s love endures forever.

Think about it, God’s love is unconditional, for God’s love does not depend on our performance or perfection.  It is there always.  His love is unbreakable, which means His character, His promises, and His sovereign will can never be defeated, compromised, or diminished.   God’s love is unshakeable signifies a binding, legal commitment to us—even when we do not live up to what God has called us todo and to be—God loves us.  God’s love has no end.

When we are acting like a two-year-old God loves us.  When we are arrogant, rude, and self-center God loves us.  When we gossip and think ill-will of others God loves us.  When lust after other things God loves us.  When we think of ourselves first and forget about God, God loves us.  When we do things to harm our bodies (God’s temple) God loves us.  When we fall short of what God has called us to do and to be God loves us.  God loves us always and forever.

God loves us even when we sin because His love is based on His unchanging character, not our behavior.  For His love is not just an action He takes, it is His core identity, which means He cannot stop loving for He is and will always be our God who loves us unconditionally.  Sometimes we forget God’s love endures forever.  God Bless. Amen.
