God's Relentless Love.

God loves us in spite of who we are!

May 1, 2026

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NIV)

This scripture shows God’s love for us in spite of our actions.  It emphasizes that God’s love is unconditional, undeniable, unbelievable, always there.  It is the kind of love that is so overwhelming it cannot be ignored or refuted.

This verse stresses that God does not just speak of love but shows us His love through His only begotten Son.  For Christ died for us—the sinners and the ungodly not when we were righteous or deserving, but in spite of who and what we are, even when we feel undeserving, even when we act undeserving.  His love is relentless which reinforces that it remains constant, unchanging, always, and forever.

Think about it, God love “you” in spite of what ”you do.”  God loves you unconditionally—Oh how He love you.  It is a relentless love, that chooses you regardless of your scars or flaws or actions, seeing everything, yet still loving you.

The key in all of this, is believing that God loves you despite your action, your words, or your thoughts. That God’s love is always there; you just have to learn to believe it and accept it!  God Bless.  Amen.
