Good morning, it has been raining and raining

Good morning, it has been raining and raining here.

June 16, 2023

Good morning, it has been raining and raining here. A few days ago, we had flooding. For golfers, the courses have been closed, and they are hoping the rain will stop soon. For farmers the rain is good, but needs to stop soon, so they can harvest their fields. Some people, are excited to see all this rain, others really do not care one way or another, and there are those who are dreading what will happen if the rain does not stop soon. Isn’t that how life is? Some of us see the beauty and the joy of living, others just get by, then there are those who complain, who are miserable no matter what is occurring in their life. God never promised us a rose garden. What God promised is that in life, He will be with us in every situation and circumstance that comes our way. That He is with us during the joyful moment and the not so good moments and no matter what we are going through, He will walk with us, comfort us, and sustain us. The key is letting the LORD God Almighty be a part of our everyday life. Isaiah 41:10 reads, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Remember life is life. And God is our all in all, a very presence no matter what we are going through. So make the joy of the LORD your strength and enjoy this day. God Bless. Amen.
