“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom” (Psalm 145:3 NIV)

           “Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours.” (1 Chronicles 29:11 NIV)

           “For you are great and do wondrous deeds; you alone are God.” (Psalm 86:10 NIV)

From these scriptures we can say, “O Lord God Almighty, we are so grateful to you Lord.  Your greatness overflows.  Great and faithful are You, Lord.”  

God is great because He is all-powerful, all-knowing, almighty, and present anytime or anywhere.  He is our all in all.  God has no limits in His power, knowledge, or presence.  He is the creator of all things.  The ruler of all things.  Yet, He remains deeply personal and loving towards us.  He forgives us our sins.  He restores us when we are depleted.  He changes our spirit to good.  He protects us from evil.  He replaces our old nature with a new, spiritually alive identity.  God can and will shift a person’s deepest desires, attitudes, and character to align with His will.  O great is the Lord and worthy to be praised.  God Bless.  Amen.
