Have you ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time and you ask, “Why is this happening to me?” Have you ever been late for an appointment only to find out if you had left on time, you would have been in a horrible accident? Have you ever won something and said, “Wow I am really lucky today!” Life happens! Sometimes life is good, sometimes not so good, and sometimes life is hard and hard to deal with. It has nothing to do with luck. With luck, whether it is success or failure, people believe that it is brought by chance, considered as a force that causes good or bad things to happen. This isn’t true. Life has nothing to do with luck—life is life and life happens. What I have come to realize is that no matter what happens in life, God is with you. God is with you through the good, the not so good, and the bad. It has nothing to do with luck! Isaiah 41”10 says, “…fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” So, when life happens remember God is with you! Not luck, just a sure thing. God Bless. Amen.
