Have you ever given up on someone?

November 25, 2025

Have you ever given up on someone? Has someone ever given up on you? Have you been shunned or have you shunned someone. Have you been ignored by someone? Have you ignored someone? Has someone been angry at you for no apparent reason? Have you been angry at someone without having all the facts? Misunderstandings, harsh words spoken, a failure to interpret something correctly happens. The thing about being human is that this kind of thing takes place. We get hurt by others and we hurt others. What I have found is that this never happens with God. There are no misunderstandings, being ignored by God, nor being shunned. God will never quit on us nor give up on us. God never deliberately nor persistently avoids us. Nor does God reject or ostracizes us. Romans 8:39 reads, “Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Hebrews 13:5b says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” God is the one sure thing in this life of ours. He is with us in all situations and circumstances. God is our all in all. So, turn to Him. Rely on Him. Trust Him. Depend on Him. For whatever you are experiencing, whatever you are going through with someone, you and God got this. This too will pass. It will work out. God Bless. Amen.
