Have you ever tried to please another person?

Have you ever tried to please another person?

July 8, 2024

Have you ever tried to please another person? No matter how hard to try, you just can’t seem to please this person. So, you try harder and harder, but nothing seems to work. You even jump through hoops to meet this person’s requirements, but each time you do the person sets the bar higher. Nothing seems to please the person and the vicious cycle continues. God doesn’t work that way. The only 2 requirements that God has really asked from us is to confess our sins and to love Him. The rest of the things He asks us to do are guidelines to live a better life. When we believe in our LORD and Savior, we do not have to jump through hoops so that He will love us. God loves us unconditionally always and forever. Psalm 36:7 says, “Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.” God loves you! God loves you just the way you are—you do not have to prove yourself. Believe it! God Bless. Amen.
