“Here I am! I stand at the door

I stand at the door and knock.

July 12, 2023

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20) This is such a beautiful scripture it depicts how when we accept Jesus the Christ as our Lord and Savior we must ask him in. Jesus will never barge through the door to enter into our lives. We must invite him in, such a simple thing to do. Remember the day, when you accepted Jesus and started your journey with our LORD. Remember how that changed your life for good, remember your enthusiasm to serve the Lord? Now remember who you belong to and if you need to recommit your life to the LORD do so, for this is the first day of the rest of your life. And if we are honest, isn’t our relationship with God the most important relationship we will ever have? Do we not want, our LORD to guide us and sustain us always and forever? The only way this occurs is through our relationship with our LORD. So make God a priority. One of my favorite songs is, “Here I Am, Lord” I think it sums up how important our relationship with God is. Here are some of the lyrics, “Here I am Lord, is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night, I will go Lord, if you lead me, I will hold your people in my heart…” It is something to remember. God Bless. Amen.
