Here is a question, “Why do you believe in God?” People believe in God for many reasons, often including personal experiences, meaning of our existence, guidance in life, a forgiveness that is unimaginable, a sense of connection to something larger than themselves, upbringing in a religious tradition, a belief that something created all things, hope for the future or that something is guiding them to a better life. However, the specific reasons why someone believes in God are deeply personal and can very greatly depending on their individual beliefs and experiences. When you believe in God a force, a light within you grows and becomes brighter, more radiant. You start see God all around you and in all things. A confidence, an assurance emerges which is accented by hope. Praise becomes a part of you and the Glory of God is manifested. Comfort, hope and forgiveness are understood no matter what is going on in your life, because you know that God is with you. 1 Chronicles 16:24 reads, “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” Today, let us rejoice for we believe in a Mighty, Wonderful God who is with us always and forever. God Bless. Amen.
