How did you sleep last night? Did you

How did you sleep last night?

October 23, 2024

How did you sleep last night? Did you wake up refreshed? Or are you tired and run down? Do you need to sit down and gather your thought to get going? Do you want to go back to bed and avoid life’s difficulties? Or is life too busy and there is no time for rest? Sometimes in life we are tired, other times we are full of energy and raring to go. Yet there are other times when life is so hard, it is amazing we can keep putting one foot in front of the other and not quit and give up. What do you do when life throws you lemons? Scripture tells us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give your rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) Sometimes in life all we can do is hold on to our LORD—stretch out our arms and hold on to Him—receiving the strength and stamina we need to keep going. Thus, go to God, where you can go to find strength when you feel weak? Isaiah 40:29 reads, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” God Bless. Amen
