How do people see you?
January 14, 2025

How do people see you? As a good, kind, honest, trustworthy, considerate, funny, helpful, loveable, caring person. Or mean, rude, hateful, angry, arrogant, pushy, bossy, dishonest, with lack of integrity. How do you see yourself? What kind of person are you? Are you a person of God? Is this how you see yourself? How do others see you—do they coincide? Which means to occupy the same place in space or time. Now how does God see you? God sees you as His creation. As His own, as a beloved child of His. He sees you as precious and honored. As fearfully and wonderfully made—created in His image male and female. He takes delight in you, loves you unconditionally, granting you mercy, honor and forgiveness. Is this how you see yourself? Ways to learn to see yourself as God sees you include believing in God’s unconditional love and forgiveness. Accepting yourself as God does. Learning to love yourself as God does by reading the Bible, listening to Christian music and focusing on the good in your life. By rejecting negative thoughts and lies and walking daily in faith and confidence because you are a beloved child of God. Remember when God looks upon you, He does not see the sinner, He sees His beloved child, He believes in you, hopes that you make good decisions and walks with you every moment of every day. Loving you and never giving up on you. And always forgiving you! Psalms 139:14 tells us, “We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” 1 John 3:1 says, “See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God, and that is what we are.” Jeremiah 29:11 reads, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” God loves you. Your journey in life is to see yourself the way God sees you. God Bless. Amen.
