How do we heal our hurt feelings, when the person who wronged us does not acknowledge what he or she has done?

How do we heal our hurt feelings, when the person who wronged us does not acknowledge what he or she has done? How do we communicate to someone who has said and done things to us that have hurt us and yet will never admit the wrongs he or she has committed towards us? How do we explain to someone how we feel when that person will not even consider listening to us? Situations like this occur day in and day out of our lives. Sad but true. Each and every one of us has wronged someone and have been hurt by someone. There is a fundamental true about life; the only person you can change is your “SELF”. If this is true how do we handle those situations, where we have been wronged? Scripture reveals to us what we need to do. Luke 23:34 tells us, “Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they have done.” Jesus prayed this prayer when he was hanging on the cross. He trusted God enough to believe that God would see him through. We need to pray this prayer too, when we have been wronged. We need to learn to turn all our cares over to God, letting go and letting God deal with what needs to be done. Today relinquish your hurt feeling over to God and let the power of our Lord God Almighty deal with them, for our God is a mighty God, He is there, He will heal our hurts. We only have to believe. God Bless. Amen.
