I fall down and I get up again,

I fall down and I get up again, for God is with me!

June 4, 2023

I fall down and I get up again, for God is with me! We as Christians, stumble and fall short of God’s glory, we make mistakes. We sin in this life, of ours, it is true, no one is perfect. To stumble means to trip or momentarily lose one’s balance; almost fall. When we stumble, we must pick ourselves up and carry on. I have been walking down the street, I stumble, I catch myself from falling. The funny thing about it is, I look around to see what caused me to stumble. Sometimes there is something there and sometimes, there is nothing there. I just stumbled. But in life, when we sin, make a mistake and stumble, it is because of a choice we have made. A choice, that is not a healthy choice. The key in life is to learn, when we stumble, God is there. Scripture reminds of us this it says, “…though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his right hand.” (Psalm 37:24) This is what we have to remember God is there. He is always there to help pick us up when we stumble. God Bless. Amen.
