I grew up hearing that actions always speak

I grew up hearing that actions always speak louder than words.

October 26, 2023

I grew up hearing that actions always speak louder than words. I am sure most of us have heard that at one time or another other. Benjamin Franklin said, “A well done is better than well said.” Amit Kalantri says, “A tongue doesn’t get things done.” Dale Carnegie tells us, “Pay less attention to what men say. Just watch what they do.” I have even heard a parent says, “Don’t do as I do, do as I say!” Sad but true. The Bible says in James 1:22, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” We are called to action. We are called to not say the words but to implement the words into action. Think about this, “As a person who believes in God, do your actions reveal that?” If not maybe you need to start acting differently, maybe you need to start showing others your true beliefs. Maybe your actions need an adjustment to become more God-like. It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
