I have seen an eagle perched high in a tree as I go to the grocery store. It is magnificent, powerful and beautiful. Every time I go to the store, I look for it. Hoping to see it and all its glory. It is beautiful. Yet an eagle can also be very, very volent when it seeks it’s prey. Because eagles are predators and actively kill animals for survival. This is like life. Life can be very beautiful and wonderful. Yet it can be harsh, unforgiving, and cruel. Life occurs, there are painful moments that are accented by times of wonder and joy. I have found that when life seems cruel and unforgiving God will help you through those devastating times. When you have a relationship with God, it doesn’t matter what life throws your way, you can and will survive because God is with you. Psalm 46:1 reads, “God is our refuge and strength, and ever present help in times of trouble.” Today, whatever you are going through go to God in prayer and know that God will give you the strength and courage you need to face the situation you are in. For our God is the one sure thing in life. He is our all in all. God Bless. Amen.
