I surrender All.

Our Lord completes us!

May 18, 2026

I am yours; you complete me, I surrender everything to you. Wonderful words we all need to take to heart.

“I am yours” Comes from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 which states that you are not your own, but you were bought with a price.

“You complete me.” This directly reflects Colossians 2:10 which reminds us that in Christ, you have been made complete.  Because all the fullness of God dwells in Christ, you lack nothing when you are rooted in Him.

“I surrender everything to you.” This echoes Luke 22:42 where Jesus prayed to the Father, “nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” It also mirrors Proverbs 3:5-6, which calls you to “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

When we accept Jesus as the Christ our lives change.  For our Lord is our all in all.  We are complete when we surrender everything to Him.  To surrender everything to God means giving up our personal agendas, wants, and timing.  For we are to try to become the best we can be, we are to try to reach our goals, and we are to be determined in all that we do.  The key is to do everything in Christ—trusting Him to see us through all situations and circumstances.

Thus, we can say, “I am yours; you complete me, I surrender everything to you.”  God Bless.  Amen.
