I want it, I want it, so I

I want it, I want it, so I should have it.

I want it, I want it, so I should have it. You have it, so I should have it. It’s not fair. Why do you get it, when I don’t? I deserve everything you have! Not true, even though our society is pushing this. My father used to say, “If it is too good to be true then it is. Nothing in life is free. If you want something then you need to work for it.” Good and very true words. Sometimes we forget this truth. Proverbs 13:4 reads, “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplies.” Then Proverbs 14:23 says, “In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.” Today, let us remember actions always reveal who and what we are. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” So if you want something, work for it. Nothing is life is free, someone is paying for it, somewhere! God Bless. Amen.
