In a society that spews out propaganda it is hard for us to know the truth.

In a society that spews out propaganda it is hard for us to know the truth. It is hard for us to have factual answers without more context. This side says, “I am right”, and the other side says, “No I am right.” Thus, conflict, anger, and frustration emerge. Today, one must research and investigate to obtain the truth. But there is one source that always contains the truth and never wavers, it is the Bible. The Bible’s reliability comes from a collection of letters, sermons, laws, poetry, history, prayers, praise, practical sayings, and prophecies that encompass a wide range of subjects. These include the existence, attributes, and works of God, the nature of His relationship with us, the creation of the universe, the corruption of the world, the meaning of life, death and the resurrection. The Bible teaches right from wrong, forgiveness, kindness, compassion, self-control, love, mercy, and truth about how to live out our lives. So, when those around you, society, news media, or the internet say something is Ok, but you question what you are being told—go to the Bible and you will find the truth of how to live. Because reading the Bible, whether you are a Christian or not, helps us gain wisdom, grow spiritually, understand God’s character and God’s will for our lives. It helps us to find the guidance we need for our life decisions. It provides moral and historical insight and guides us to become better people and live a better life. Maybe if we would read the bible more there wouldn’t be so much conflict of “I’m right and you’re wrong” going on. It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
