In God We Trust.

One nation under God.

July 4, 2026

“Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” (Leviticus 25:10 NIV)

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12 NIV)

Today is Independence Day.  It marks the birth of the United States of America from British rule, the day the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of independence in 1776, founding the United States of America.

It is the National Birthday.  It honors the formal birth of this great nation.

It marks the adoption of the historic 1776 document—the Declaration.

Our core values celebrate the ideal of life, liberty, equality, and self-governance.

It celebrates the historical break and commemorates the official political separation from Great Britain.

The importance of today is national unity, which brings our country together through shared history and values.  It provides a time to reflect on our freedom and patriotism.  It is a day to be proud of who we are, where we live and remember the sacrifices our Four Fathers made so that we could live in the greatest country of the world, free from tyranny, and we stand as one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Today, we express our loyalty to the United States of America.  A country founded on God. Happy Independence Day!  Happy Fourth of July!  God Bless. Amen.
