Learning to deal with life’s issues can be very hard.

December 21, 2024

Learning to deal with life’s issues can be very hard. Whether it deals with death, illness, abuse, hate, self-hate or substance abuse, if we could, we would save ourselves from the pain or the difficult situation, but we can’t. Sometimes we just want someone to save us from our pain and heartache. It sounds cliché, but the only thing we can do is to learn to let go and let God and trust that God is bigger than the situation. And then pray and pray and pray some more. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Today, whatever you are going through remember God is there. God is the one sure thing in life, so hold on and with God on your side you will make it step by step, moment by moment. God Bless. Amen.
