Let me be an example of how to love.

Let me be an example of how to love. Love is something we all want, for we all want to love and be loved. Love is an intense feeling of deep affection, but it is so much more. “Love is patient, love is kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) Love is a verb. It is action. When you love, you give and give, it is not about taking and receiving. We at times, though, get this confused. Have you ever heard someone say, “If you love me, you would do this for me?” That is not love. Love does not have strings upon it. Today, show and tell your spouse, your children, your family, and your friends just how important they are, and how much you love them. Be patient and kind to those around you and remember God loves you always and forever. It is something to remember. God Bless. Amen.
