Life is fleeting. It is short, temporary, and

It is short, temporary, and passes by very quickly.

Life is fleeting. It is short, temporary, and passes by very quickly. And when we think about life in this manner, we start to realize the importance of saying, doing, and expressing how we feel every day, every moment. Life is also not fair, life is life. For life does not always go our way, events and circumstances do not always turn out in the way we want. Bad things happen to good people, without rhyme or reason. As believers in God, we pray through the good, the bad, and the ugly. We pray and pray hoping beyond hope that the situation will turn out the way we want. But if it doesn’t, we know who holds the future and we know who holds us up. Because of our belief in the Lord, we can face tomorrow; because of our Lord all fear is gone, because our Lord holds our hope and we know that no matter what the future brings, He holds our hand. Isaiah 41:13 reads, “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.” The truth is we all need comfort, and our Lord knows exactly what we need. So, hold on to Him and you will get through this, step by step, moment by moment. God is with us. He is our help in troubled times. God Bless. Amen.
