Life is full of ups and downs, times of joy that are accented by times of undeniable pain. Then there are times of wonder and searching, but also there are times of stupidity and doing things we should not do. Where evil lurks around the corner, that can cause heartache in our life. We sin, we make mistakes, we do stupid things. Evil raises its ugly head where immoral and wicked things occur. We are tempted, we go where we should not go and see things we should not see. Sometimes we get lured into something and we wake up saying how in the world did I get involved in this situation. Life is life but as believers in God we need to put on the armor of God daily to protect us from all the evil, the principalities, and things that go bump in the night. Ephesians 6:14-18a reads, “Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” It is something we just need to be reminded of this. God Bless. Amen.
