Life is life. You are going along, life

You are going along, life seems pretty good, suddenly life hits you in the gut and you stop.

Life is life. You are going along, life seems pretty good, suddenly life hits you in the gut and you stop. You sit down for a moment to catch your breath. Wondering what happened? Confusing, fear, and panic begin to overwhelm you. And you wonder, “What am I going to do?” You begin to pray and pray, but you don’t know what to pray for, all you can say is, “Help me LORD! Help me!” So you sit in the silence of your thoughts all alone crying out to God. Then you are reminded of Psalm 121, “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” And there is God. Lifting you up, calming your fears. Filling you with that peace that passes all understanding. Giving you the strength and courage to get up, so you can deal with the situation that is at hand. Sometimes that is all you can do to get through, with what, life throws your way! God Bless. Amen.
