My Story!

What does your life-story tell about you?

June 13, 2026

“I have fought the good fight.  I have finished the race.  I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7 NIV)

In this verse the Apostle Paul reflects on his life and ministry.  “I have fought the good fight” represents how he served our Lord through the good the bad and the ugliness of life.  He never gave up nor did he lose sight of what God had called him to do and to be.

“I have finished the race” refers to fulfilling his God-given purpose—even through the most difficult times.

“I have kept the faith” the crucial anchor of his life, meaning he stayed loyal and obedient to God,

Today, let us reflect on our lives and how we have served the Lord God Almighty.

Are we faithful and obedient? Do we put God first in all things. Do we share our love of God with others? Are we thankful and appreciate of all that God has given us?  Do we keep our faith even during those difficult times?  Do we love others and forgive as God has loved and forgiven us? Do we manage how we think and how we respond to others?  Do we encourage one another?  Do we control our anger?  Do we practice honesty?  Do we honor God with our bodies and respect the boundaries of marriage?  Do we honor our mother and father?  Do we choose not to steal, cheat, or take advantage of others? Do we reframe from selfish ways?  Do we read the Bible, pray, and worship our Lord?

What does our life-story look like?  It is something to think about.  God Bless. Amen.
