One of my favorite songs is, “As a Deer.” It comes from Psalms 42:1. The lyrics to the song are, “As the deer panteth for the water so my soul longeth after thee. You alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship thee. You alone are my strength, my shield to you alone may my spirit yield. You alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship thee…” Sometimes we just need to be reminded how great our LORD is and how important it is to have a relationship with Him. Today, spend time alone with our LORD, share your feelings, and praise His Holy Name, because our God is an awesome God. He is our all in all. The final verse of the song goes, “I love Thee more than gold or silver, only You can satisfy. You alone are the real joy giver and the apple of my eye.” God Bless. Have a great day. Amen.
