Pray, God is listening. He cares. He loves

Pray, God is listening.

Pray, God is listening. He cares. He loves you. He is there, always, even when you don’t feel that He is there! We all have experienced dark times in our life. It is a time in our life, where our life is just down right hard, overwhelming, and sad. In the 1990’s I wrote this poem, because I was experiencing this in my life. It goes like this: “I cry out for help, where are you God? I pull my hair and shake my fists and ask, why? I get down on my hands and knees asking for strength, courage, and guidance. Then I sit, in the silence of the early dawn, all alone. All by myself, praying for help and understanding. Praying and praying. Can you hear me, LORD? Can you hear me? Are You there? Do you care? Where are You, LORD? I need You now, Oh how I need You.” We cry out, “Lord help me” when things are not going our way. We wonder where our God is! When life takes a turn for the worse, we even doubt that God can and will help us. All the while we wonder where are you Lord, where are you. Psalms 94:18 reminds us, “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping,’ your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.” God is there. All we have to do is trust. He will see you through whatever you are going through. Believe it. God Bless. Amen. Denise
