Prayer is a form of communication with God.

Prayer is a form of communication with God.

Prayer is a form of communication with God. A prayer request is asking God for something. It can be as insignificant as asking for a parking place close to the front door or a big as a miracle to heal a loved one. Philippians 4:6 reads, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believer that you have received it, and it will be yours.” 1 John 5:14 tells us, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” From these scriptures we find that it doesn’t matter how big or how small the prayer request is—God listens to us and hears our prayers. All we have to do is ask but remember we do not know or understand why all our prayer request are not answered the way we want them to be answered. We just have to trust that God is bigger than the situation we are in. So ask, pray and know that God is listening and trust in the LORD. He will see you through whatever it is you are going through. He hears you. God Bless. Amen.
