Prayer is how we communicate to our Lord.

Prayer is how we communicate to our Lord.

April 28, 2023

Prayer is how we communicate to our Lord. When you pray, you can talk to God about anything and everything. You can sing to our Lord, praise Him, and give thanks. You can scream and shout, asking for forgiveness and mercy. You can even sit in the stillness of the moment, not saying anything, because you do not know what to say. Prayer can occur any time or any place. You can pray with your eyes opened or closed. You can pray for yourself or for others. When you pray, you pray from your heart, your pain, and even your joy. There is no right or wrong way to pray, because you are taking to our Lord, the creator and sustainer of all life. Today, my prayer is this, “Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty, King of kings, Lord of lords, mighty and wonderful are You. You, O Lord are our God and we bow down before you. On this day, let us remember whom we belong to and whom we serve. Let us, feel your Holy Spirit moving in and through us, guiding us and sustaining us, in all that we do. As we go forth into this day, give us that peace which passes all understanding and calms our spirit. May we truly comprehend how much You love, accept and forgive us. May we always try to be the person You want us to be, following Your statutes in all that we do. O Lord we give thanks, and praise Your Holy Name. These things we pray. Amen. God Bless.
