Prayer, sometimes our prayers are not answered the way we want them to be.

Prayer, sometimes our prayers are not answered the way we want them to be. Sometimes, the prayer we are asking for is taking too long. Then there are times when we get mad at God because our pray isn’t turning out the way we want it to! Have you ever experienced this? I have. I prayed for 20 years for Mr. Right to come into my life and finally when I gave up all hope he enters my life. And I thank God for my husband. Do you remember the Old Testament story of Sarah? She waited and waited to conceive—she did not become pregnant until she was in her 90’s. God promised Sarah’s husband Abraham, he would be the father of all nations. God promised him children. Genesis 15:4, but even after receiving this message the wait just seem too long. Sarah just could not understand. And after years of waiting she gave up hope. Can you imagine conceiving when you are in your 90’s? But that is the way of our LORD—doing the unimaginable. Today, whatever it is you are asking God? It is not your timing—it is God’s time. For all things will work out, you just have to trust, even when it does not seem it could possibly happen. So trust in the Lord. Have faith and remember sometimes our prayers are not answered the way we want them to be answered nor on our time frame. It is something to remember. God Bless. Amen.
