Psalm 62:1 says, “Truly my soul finds rest in God, my salvation comes from him.” Jeremiah 31:25 reads, “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” Exodus 33:14 tells us, “The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”” God gives us rest when we are weary. When God gives us rest it means the physical, emotional, and spiritual renewal and a state of helping us trust Him with life’s burdens. For when we are down, He lifts us up. When we are weary, He gives us strength. When we are tired, He gives us energy. When we are in need of rest, He restores us. When we are exhausted from life, He refreshes us. Our God is our all of life. He is our all in all. He is with us step by step, moment by moment, a very presence, in all our life. So, turn to Him when you are weary and in need of rest. He will lift you up, so hold on to Him. He will give you the strength you need to get through this period of your life. God Bless. Amen.
