Psalms 143:10 tells us, “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.” God’s will, how do we find God’s will in our life? I believe, God’s will becomes known, first by developing a relationship with God and this occurs through prayer. The question is, how many of us pray to follow God’s will? Is it daily, weekly, monthly, only when you are at your last resort? Or do you just go about your business doing what you think is best? Or is it you just don’t care to do God’s will, our humanness gets in the way. I have found, as our relationship with God improves so does our seeking to do His will in our lives. The way to learn to know what God’s will is to pray, read scripture, and then listens to that still small voice. God will show you the way. The way God reveals to you can be found in prayer, when talking to another person, on the TV or radio, reading the paper, listening to music, reading the word, through a sermon. What I am saying is the closer you draw near to God the more God reveals to you His will, which can appear in all sorts of different ways, even goosebumps can reveal God and God’s will for your life. Today, seek God, pray, listen and then trust the LORD God Almighty, He will guide you and show you His will, if you are willing. God Bless. Amen.
