Psalms 37:23-24 reads, “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.” Sometimes we stumble and fall short of what God has called us to do and to be. Sometimes we sin walking unsteady in life. Sometimes we miss a step in life and fall or nearly fall and when this occurs, God is there. God is always there. This can be hard to imagine. At times it is inconceivable, unthinkable, unplausible, but it is true. Isaiah 46:4 says, “Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.” Deuteronomy 31:8 tells us, “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Our God is a God of grace and mercy, a God who forgives and loves us unconditionally. He is our all and all. No matter what happens in life remember God will see you through. For God will lift us up when we are down. God Bless. Amen.
