Psalms 5:2 reads, “Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to thee do I pray.” For to you, do I pray. To pray means to express joy, happiness, thankfulness, sorrow, pain, heartache to God. Prayer is our communication to God, often involving expressing gratitude, seeking guidance, or finding comfort. We pray when we want to talk to God. For God is our lifeline. He is our all in all. Today, let us pray for our loved ones: our spouse, our children, our grandchildren, our parents, our siblings, our friends and yes our pets. Let us also pray for our country, our military, our police force, our fire fighter, our government officials, our president. Let us give thanks to our God and all the wonderful things He has done. Let us rejoice, for this is the day that the LORD has made. Praise be to God. God Bless. Amen.
