Pursue God!

What do you pursue in life?

September 11, 2026

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.” (Proverbs 21:21 NIV)

“Righteousness” refers to the quality of being morally right, justifiable, and virtuous. We are to live in alignment with God’s moral standards and treating others with fairness and justice.  We are to have integrity and honor, truthfulness and honesty, keeping our word, which stands in direct contrast to deception and pride, dishonesty and self-centeredness.

“Love” all our actions are to be based on love of God, love of neighbor and self. Showing care, forgiveness, and kindness in all that you do.

When we do this, we find life, prosperity and honor.

My prayer for you today is: “O Lord, may we pursue what is right and true today.  Where there is meanness let us show kindness.  Where there is rudeness let us show courtesy.  Where there is sin let us show forgiveness.  Where there is laziness let us show action.  Where there is sloth let us show diligence. Where there is pride let us show humility.  Where there is envy let us show contentment.  Where there is wrath let us show calmness.  Where there is greed let us show generosity.  Where there is lust let us show purity.  Today, Lord use us, let us be a representative of You in all that we do, because you are our God.  Use us this day to glorify You.  These things we pray.  Amen.” God Bless.
