Seasons come and seasons go—life has moments of joy that are accented by times of undeniable pain and heartache. Sometimes, life is good and sometimes it is bad, but no matter what is going on in our life it continues to ebb and flow. When life gets too overwhelming, we at times just want to say, “Wait a minute and let me catch my breath.” But life keeps moving forward so we must learn to make the most out of each situation we are in. During life’s struggles we can either make the best out of the situation we are in or we can feel sorry for our SELF and say how unfair life is! The choice is always ours to make. Today, what will you choose? Will you choose to trust God in the situation you are in, or will you lose sight of the LORD God Almighty and wallow in self-pity? Scripture reminds us what to do in Joshua 24:15 it reads, “But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” When we choose to serve the LORD we wait, knowing that with God on our side we can get through any situation. “I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.” (Micah 7:7) It is something to remember. It is something to hold on to. God is with you always. Remember that for He is bigger than any situation. God Bless. Amen.
