Seek the Lord.

Let us learn to seek the Lord in all things.

February 22, 2026

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.” (1 Chronicles 16:11 ESV)

Look for the Lord.  Do you look for the Lord daily throughout the day?  Looking for the Lord means intentionally seeking a deeper, personal relationship with God by setting your mind, heart, and actions toward His presence—seeking His face.  It is an attitude of the soul, an act of the will, and the exercise of faith.  It is a turning away from our sinful nature and learning to rely upon God in all things, daily—throughout the day.  Seeking His face.

When you wake up, say goodmorning God and there is God.  When you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, give thanks, and there is God.  When you are at work, out and about, or even when you exercise talk to God and there is God.  When you read the Bible, meditate, listen to Christian music, there is God.  When you look at a Sunrise or Sunset, there is God.  When you listen to the chirping of birds, there is God.  When you see the wonders of nature, the majestic mountains, the flowing rivers, the crashing of the waves, there is God.

If you look, if you seek, you will find God and His strength.  For it is an intentional action—a pursuing of God—a focus upon the Lord, the LORD of all things, and there is God. For when you look to the Lord and His strength, seeking His face, a feeling and recognition of our Lord emerges.  His guidance and closeness will be there in every moment of our daily life.  Seek the Lord and you will find Him. God Bless. Amen.
