Seek the Lord!

Seek the Lord with all your heart and all that is within you.

March 26, 2026

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 ESV)

What type of Christian are you?  Do you seek God daily?  Do you spend time with God by reading the Bible, praying, meditating, and being still? Do you fill your day, listening to Christian music, talking to God off and on and throughout the day?  Do you only spend time with God when you have a problem? Or is it only on Sunday that you spend time with God?  Or do you only think of God on Christmas and Easter?  Is it important for you to seek God?

This verse emphasizes that a sincere, wholehearted pursuit of God—rather than a half-hearted one.  For when you seek God it leads to discovering and it leads to God.  For it is in the seeking that you find God.  It implies a total commitment, prioritizing a relationship with God rather than forgetting about God until you need Him.  The promise is God is not hiding, He is available to be found by those who earnestly seek and desire to have a relationship with Him.

Today, take time to say hello to God—tell Him of what is going on in your day. Pick up the Bible and read the Psalms, the Gospels, or start at the beginning of the Bible in Genisis.  Listen to Christian music, be still, seek and you will find.  Start your day and end your day by seeking God with all your heart, not halfway. For God is there, He is always there waiting for you to seek Him.  God Bless. Amen.
