Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life, we lose sight of what God has called us to do and to be.

Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life, we lose sight of what God has called us to do and to be. There are also times, when all we can think about is what we want and how we can get the things, we want. We are so focus on what we want that we lose sight of God. We get distracted in life and God seems to take a backseat in our lives. We forget to stop, look around, and appreciate what we have. Psalms 46:10a reminds us “Be still, and know that I am God.” William Penn wrote, “In the rush and noise of life, as you have intervals, step home within yourselves and be still. Wait upon God, and feel His good presence; this will carry you evenly through your day’s business.” Then Psalms 37:7a reads, “Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act.” Today, take a moment here and a moment there, be still before the LORD, look around you and appreciate what the LORD God Almighty has given you. Give thanks. Praise God. Be still. Pray. God Bless. Amen.
