Sometimes life just gets really hard and overwhelming. You want to say, “Can I just sit down for a minute and catch my breath without something else happening?” But that is not life! Sometimes life throws so many lemons your way you just run out of sugar to make lemonade. It is during these hard and frustrating times that the only thing that can help you is the LORD God Almighty, but here is the catch! You might not feel God’s presence, because you feel so alone and lost. Wondering all the while, where is God, in the midst of all this? Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble times…” God is with us even when we do not feel it. Then in Psalms 130:5 it shows us what to do when we feel lost and all alone, “I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.” And that my friends is all any of us really have…hope in the LORD. He will see you through. God Bless. Amen.
